TestFlight update safety

Back up before you upgrade.

Keep a portable copy of your inventory before installing a new Filafolio beta.

Before upgrading, export a transition backup.You can find this option in the Settings tab in Filafolio.

Three quick steps

  1. Open Filafolio and select Settings.
  2. Tap Export transition backup and save the file somewhere you can find again, such as Files or iCloud Drive.
  3. Install the TestFlight update over the existing app, then confirm that your inventory is present.

Do not delete Filafolio

Deleting the app removes its locally stored inventory. Update the existing installation instead. If you ever need to recover your saved inventory, use Settings → Import backup.
